Keep you coffee tasting great by regularly cleaning your home espresso machine with a good cleaning product like Cleancaf.   Cleancaf is an excellent product for the home barista and is particularly well suited to single boiler espresso machines.   Cleancaf is designed to remove flavor-tainting stale coffee oil residue from home machines. Portion packaged for easy use, Cleancaf also contains a blue-dye which helps to ensure proper rinsing.

How to clean your espresso machine

1) Dissolve the contents of one sachet into 1 litre of warm water and stir well, a blue cleaning solution will form. Pour the cleaning solution into the water reservoir. Attach the portafilter (handle) and place an empty container below.
2) Turn the  machine on and let it come up to operating temperature. Open the steam valve and allow approximately 100ml of solution to flow through the steam nozzle. Close the steam valve. Activate the coffee button as you would normally do to extract an espresso. Allow the entire volume of cleaning solution to pass through the machine until the reservoir is empty, then switch off the coffee button. Discard entire solution once it has passed through your machine.
3) Remove the portafilter(handle), rinse all components, and repeat steps 1 and 2 twice with clean water only. You can soak portafilters and filter baskets in Cleancaf solution then rinse all components with clean water

    The descaler works very very veryyyyy well, we had a used coffee machine that we bought as a fix up project (Only needed a new pump) and the amount of gunk inside the thing turned it into a sprinkler for a good minute, but as soon as the stuff had a chance to sit in the internals everything came free it is now clean after numerous runthroughs, to top it off they included little chocolate almond truffles :)

    Amazing cleaning power as the water was quite black following the first few flushes. I thought my previous product was doing a good job but I have never got that result before. Will continue to buy this product.
