Green bipolar switch with lamp. Lamp connection between the two switches. Can be connected in a range of configurations to have the lamp illuminate.
This switch has 4 terminals, 2 terminals per pole. The lamp is connected between the two poles (switches).
The switch you are replacing may have 3 terminals (2 terminals for the switch, plus a terminal for the lamp; the lamp is connected between the lamp terminal and one terminal of the switch) 3 terminal switches are no longer available, this switch replaces the 3 terminal switches that are out of production.
