Espresso machine pressure switch controls the pressure in an espresso machine boiler by switching the element on and off. Under normal conditions the boiler pressure will drift above and below the average pressure setting. If your espresso machine is not maintaining a reliable boiler pressure, the pressurestat may need replacing.
