replacement for 18 year old regulator in E61 Rocket.

Posted by Frank on 12th Dec 2015

Seemingly very good product at this point. Superb overnight shipping of replacement part and technical assistance. Note pin connections are quite different and there are more pins on the RL30 ST than in the older unit. Per information at bottom of listing on Espresso's site: CONNECTIONS PIN 1: Phase (brown on my older unit) PIN 2: Neutral (blue) PIN 3: Element (Resistance ) (white) PIN 4: Electrovalve (Boiler Fill) (red) PIN 5: Pump (black) PIN 6: Brew [not connected in my older unit] PIN 7: Ground (yellow) PIN 8: Boiler probe (Green) PIN 9: Tank probe (tank switch) [connect to pin 9 to pin 7, requires additional jump lead.] Omitting this link will prevent supply to element. Many thanks to the Espresso Company staff. Frank.
