Rancilio Head Seal
Fitted and worked as expected. My only criticism is the courier company you use is too slow. If you use Courier Post I would have received it overnight rather than having to wait three days for it to get delivered

Correct part and improved machine performance
After installing this group head filter seal it was obvious that the previous one bought via Trademe was just wrong. This one has sufficient give in it to allow the portafilter to lock in properly, and the shower screen to sit at the right height in relation to the puck. The previous seal was hard, and the portafilter did not locate well. The result now is that our coffee is much improved! Lesson, Silvia V1 requires a soft seal. (I think there is a harder one available as an option on the current model which does not suit the earlier)

Original parts
Well, my previous seal was completely shot and leaching black water into each shot - so it wouldn't be difficult for this product to have been a better solution. So what else to say? It is an original Rancilio part so it fits perfectly and, well, it does work as expected... it seals!
