RANCILIO SILVIA home espresso coffee machines are notorious for blown heating elements. If you have the older style machine with the element integrated into the boiler then you will need this upgrade kit.

If you have a RANCILIO SILVIA with the newer style boiler then you just need to order a new heating element: Heating Element 1100W 230V - L 130mm - 2 pole - OD 52mm - 22mm fitting - SILVIA - RANCILIO 10705639

    Replacement boiler

    Had issues with our 8year old Silvia tripping house RCD. Tested the element and it had a short to ground across heater element. fitted up the new and improved replacement boiler and all is happy again. New and improved version allows you to replace element itself, unlike old one which had element integrated with boiler.
